Web Dev Toolkit ("we", "this site") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using this site you agree to this policy.
We do not store or transmit your data. Every tool on this site — formatters, converters, generators, counters, and games — runs entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Text, code, passwords, files, and images you enter or process never leave your device and are never uploaded to any server, saved in a database, or seen by us. We have no backend that receives your tool input.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate site usage — for example, which pages are visited and approximate geographic region. This is anonymized analytics data, not your personal tool content. Google Analytics may use cookies to collect this information. You can learn more and control your settings at Google's privacy policy for partner sites.
The site uses cookies primarily for basic analytics. Some tools store a personal high score or preference locally in your browser (localStorage) so we can show your best result on your own device; this data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
We link to third-party services you can choose to use: Ko-fi, Gumroad, and GitHub. If you make a donation or purchase, your payment and account details are handled by that third party under its own privacy policy; we do not see or store your payment details. Sending a donation or making a purchase is entirely optional.
In the future we may display advertising served by partners such as Google AdSense. Ad networks may use cookies to show relevant ads and measure performance. Any such advertising will be subject to this policy and the network's own policies; we will update this page accordingly.
This site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because we do not collect any personal data through the tools themselves, there is little personal information to erase. For analytics, you can opt out of Google Analytics cookies, and you can clear your browser cookies and localStorage at any time. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by the analytics providers; to exercise these, contact the relevant provider or reach us at the address below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
