Markdown Table Generator — CSV to MD Tables

This free URL encoder and decoder percent-encodes text, query strings and whole URLs in your browser. It supports component encoding (for a single query value), whole-URL encoding (keeps ://, ?, & intact and encodes only what needs escaping), and a strict RFC 3986 mode. Decoding handles malformed input gracefully. No data is ever sent to a server.

How It Works

Paste rows where each line is one record and columns are separated by commas or pipes (toggle the separator). The first line is treated as the header. Quoted cells are handled, and any | inside a cell is escaped so your table always renders. The result is a standard GFM table: |---| dividers, header on top, ready to paste into Markdown.

Copy-Ready Output

Hit generate and the Markdown table appears instantly in the output box. Copy it with one click and paste it straight into your README, docs page, or any Markdown-aware editor. No registration, no watermark, no limits.

Markdown Table FAQ

What separators are supported? Comma by default, with a pipe-separated mode for copy-pasting from terminal output. What about commas inside quoted cells? Quoted strings are handled: a cell like "Dev, QA" stays one column. Do pipes inside cells break the table? No — they are escaped as \| automatically. Is the data safe? Everything runs locally; nothing is uploaded.
